Dr. Soumya Paik is one of finest surgeon we have experienced. In fact, we have met GOD on earth.

On 21st December, 2016, evening, our son, Souraaj Sarkar, who is of 4 and a half years only, met with an accident and had a supracondylar fracture on his right arm. We took him to Apollo Gleanagles emergency, and admitted him under Dr. Paik. The very next day morning he did surgery of my son and within 2 days, was released from the hospital. Around a month’s duration, the plaster was removed. The broken arm joined. For another month, physiotherapy was suggested by doctor for normal flexion. From March 2017 onwards, our son became entirely fit and normal.

We were very fortunate to find him to treat our daughter all of 5 years – the elbow had broken real bad and it was a Sunday afternoon – when he was away from the city. He got back, got the elbow back in shape, – with a Monday morning surgery (using K-wire) – leaving minimal scars, and ensuring close to full range of movement being restored through his recommended physiotherapist. I have never written a review about anyone – but he TRULY calls for it. He got us from helplessness to thankfulness.. Cheers Doc – you rock 🙂

Dr. Paik treated our 13 year old son for a fractured left ankle. Right from the first day we found his demeanor very reassuring and felt confident that he would do what is best for our son. The doctor could have recommended surgery and we would have readily agreed. However, he explained to us that while surgery may be a relatively less painful option, given our son’s age, it could negatively affect his growth later. He plastered the leg and, four months later, I am happy to tell you that my son has recovered completely. Dr. Paik is a rare example of a young doctor who has the patient’s interest at heart and does not make treatment recommendations with the objective of lining his own pocket. He is patient with kids and they feel comfortable in his presence. Keep it up doc!!

Lateral Condyle Fracture Humerus and Olecranon Fracture accidentally happened in my son’s left hand. So, the operation was must. I’m very much thankful to Dr. S. Paik. Now my son’s hand is completely normal without any bend. Gladly saying again that I am grateful to Dr. S. Paik.
